रोहतास: जिले में पुलिस की जांच के दौरान एक कार से करीब 70 लाख रुपये नकद बरामद किए गए हैं। इस मामले में दो महिलाओं और एक पुरुष को हिरासत में लिया गया है। चौंकाने वाली बात यह है कि नकदी केवल कार में ही नहीं रखी गई थी, बल्कि उसे छिपाने के लिए कार सवार लोगों ने अपने कपड़ों और शरीर का भी इस्तेमाल किया था। फिलहाल पुलिस बरामद रकम के स्रोत का पता लगाने में जुटी है।
मामला शिवसागर टोल प्लाजा के पास का है, जहां पुलिस ने नियमित जांच के दौरान एक संदिग्ध कार को रोककर तलाशी ली। तलाशी के दौरान वाहन में सवार दो महिलाओं और एक पुरुष के पास से भारी मात्रा में नकदी बरामद हुई। बताया जा रहा है कि तीनों ने रुपये को कपड़ों के अंदर कमर और शरीर के अन्य हिस्सों में बांधकर छिपा रखा था। इसके अलावा कार से भी नकदी बरामद की गई।
प्रारंभिक जानकारी के मुताबिक, कार वाराणसी से कोलकाता की ओर जा रही थी। हिरासत में लिए गए पुरुष की पहचान चंदन सोनी के रूप में बताई जा रही है। वहीं, बरामद नकदी सासाराम के जानी बाजार निवासी रामजी सेठ की बताई जा रही है। हालांकि, इन दोनों जानकारियों की अभी तक आधिकारिक पुष्टि नहीं हुई है।
पुलिस ने बरामद रकम को अपने कब्जे में लेकर आगे की कानूनी प्रक्रिया शुरू कर दी है। फिलहाल पुलिस और मजिस्ट्रेट की मौजूदगी में नकदी की गिनती की जा रही है। मामले की गंभीरता को देखते हुए आयकर विभाग को भी इसकी सूचना दे दी गई है, ताकि रकम के स्रोत और उससे जुड़े वित्तीय लेन-देन की जांच की जा सके।
अब पुलिस इस बात का पता लगाने में जुटी है कि इतनी बड़ी रकम कहां से लाई जा रही थी और इसे वाराणसी से कोलकाता ले जाने के पीछे क्या उद्देश्य था। हिरासत में लिए गए तीनों लोगों से पूछताछ जारी है। जांच पूरी होने के बाद ही नकदी से जुड़े पूरे मामले का खुलासा हो सकेगा।
